The CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services is specifically designed to give you the right skills and knowledge to work with people, and assist them in seeking solutions to a range of personal and social issues.

Community Services workers work in many aspects of people’s lives and may work with children and families, senior citizens, those living with disabilities, those suffering drug and alcohol dependency, those living with a mental illness, immigrants, ex-offenders or the homeless.

You’ll develop real-world skills and complete 100 hours of vocational placement to practice your skills.

You’ll learn to:

  • Case manage and counsel clients
  • Work with other health and human services providers on behalf of your client

CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services

The CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services has 16 units structured into 3 major clusters of learning. Each cluster contains units grouped into core study areas that are covered during the 12-month qualification. In cluster 3, students will be able to select a stream that is appropriate to their career path. Students will also complete 100 hours of vocational placement which will form part of their assessment*. The tuition fee for this course is $10,000

The college enrols monthly with induction and orientation sessions to get you started. Plus regular workshops and tutorials, so you can start learning when it suits you.

To gain entry into the CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services course, candidates must successfully complete a National Criminal Record Check and/or Working with Children Check.
