CHC51712 Diploma of Counselling

The CHC51712 Diploma of Counselling has 17 units structured into 4 major clusters of learning. Each cluster contains units grouped into core study areas that are covered during the 18-month qualification.

Eligibility Requirements

All students must be at least 20 years of age and with adequate Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills.

What happens next?

Here’s what you can expect after you’ve applied.

  1. A course advisor will call to chat about your course and set up a time for you to come in and get started.
  2. Your first day in campus! You will attend an information session and complete a Student Enrolment Agreement and Pre-Enrolment Profile.
    If you are a distance student, you will attend an information session with a course advisor over the phone and complete a Student Enrolment Agreement and Pre-Enrolment Profile.
  3. You will get an email confirming your identity and a VET FEE-HELP application form. To complete this form, you will need your Tax File Number.
  4. We will have you back for a Kick Start Workshop, to get started in the course and meet others who will be studying with you.
  5. You will then be enrolled and on your way!
