  • Youth Worker
    Youth workers provide support, information and advice to young clients on emotional, financial, recreational, health, housing and other social welfare matters. They may also evaluate and coordinate the services of welfare and community service agencies.

CHC50413 Diploma of Youth Work

The CHC50413 Diploma of Youth Work has 21 units structured into 3 major clusters of learning. Each cluster contains units grouped into core study areas that are covered during the 12-month qualification. Students will also complete 200 hours of vocational placement during their studies which will form part of their assessment*. The tuition fee for this course is $10,000

The college enrols monthly with induction and orientation sessions to get you started. Plus regular workshops and tutorials, so you can start learning when it suits you.

To gain entry into the CHC50413 Diploma of Youth Work course, candidates must successfully complete a National Criminal Record Check and/or Working with Children Check.

  2. You will attend an information session and complete a Student Enrolment Agreement and Pre-Enrolment Profile.
  3. You will complete a Kick Start Workshop to get started in the course. If all your documentation is in order you will then be enrolled and ready to start studying!
